Another Robert Trent Jones Jr. design in the surrounds of Bangkok (which might even tempt one or the other to do a RTJ trail in Bangkok itself), Suvarnabhumi Golf & Country Club(formerly called as the president country club) is a 36 hole layout which has one of the most picturesque settings. This may very well be because of the more open feel of the golf course with relatively wider looking fairways and sparser tree population that allow better vistas of the countryside. The factor though to contend with is the rough, which invariably means “avoid them” and keep them on the fairway.
