Pearl Valley Golf Estates Overview
The Jack Nicklaus designed Pearl Valley golf course is located in the Winelands region near Cape Town. Without question, Pearl Valley is amongst the best parkland layouts in South Africa, in spite of being a relatively flat golf course. The South African Championship host on 3 occasions has some memorable holes in play – a 200+ yard par 3 with water on the right of the green and a par 5 with water to cross thrice. The Jack Nicklaus signature is clearly evident with extensive bunkering, large water bodies and various holes designed with a compelling risk-reward equation.
