One of the older golf courses around in South Africa, having been made in the 1930s, the George Golf Club is a hit with the locals because of its scenic and wooded parkland layout, the condition of its greens and the relative affordability of playing as a visitor. Wide fairways ensure that there is not too much stress in playing and is often recommended as the place to go to for a more relaxing round of golf.
