One of the older layouts situated in the valley of the Silvermine river very close to Cape Town, the Clovelly Country Club is a classic parkland golf course with mature trees and mountains making up the backdrop on every hole. Several water bodies including the Silvermine river come in to play in this golf course of moderate length albeit narrow landing areas. The fairways and the greens are usually in very good condition regardless of the time of the year, making the Clovelly golf course quite a draw for locals and tourists alike.
