Dundonald Links Overview
One of the big modern names in Scottish Links, there is an air of expectancy from the fabulous Dundonald Links golf course. Owned by the prestigious Loch Lomond club in Glasgow, where the Scottish Open is currently played, it is anticipated that this precursor to the British Open will shift here, thus serving as a solid links preparation before the Major. Dundonald literally means Fort Donald, in recognition of the fortification dating to 200 BC discovered in the area. The track is top quality, measuring up to the best around and yet the green fees at the Dundonald Links golf course, Scotland are quite affordable.
