Golf Holiday Overview

Explore the highlands and the beaches of Sri Lanka in this tour. Start your trip in the vibrant city of Colombo and play a round of golf at the Royal Colombo Golf Club. Visit Kandy, the peaceful place in central Sri Lanka and play golf at one of the most picturesque golf courses – the Victoria Golf & Country Club. Then take a lovely train ride through the highlands and spend a few days in Nuwara Eliya and explore the tea estates and also play golf at the Colonial golf club Nuwara Eliya. Travel down to the south to the pristine southern coast of the Island & relax at the  luxurious Shangri-La Hambantota resort which is also the home to an 18-hole championship golf course, the only resort course in the country.

Golf Holiday Itinerary for 9D/8N Golf, Hill Country & Beach in Sri Lanka

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN COLOMBO

Arrival at Bandaranayake International Airport. Meet & greet at the Airport. Transfer to Colombo (Approx 1 1/2 hours drive) Overnight in Colombo

DAY 2: GOLF AT ROYAL COLOMBO GOLF COURSE

After breakfast at hotel, Transfer to the “Royal Colombo Golf Club”. Play 1st round of golf. Overnight in Colombo

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO KANDY AND VISIT GEM MUSEUM AND CULTUTAL SHOW

After breakfast, checkout at approx 10.30am and transfer to Kandy. Enroute visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela. Witness Elephant feeding session @ 1pm & River bathing session @ 2pm. In Kandy, visit the Gem museum & store and witness a Cultural show at 5pm. Overnight in Kandy 

DAY 4: GOLF AT VICTORIA GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB. AFTERNOON KANDY SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast at the hotel, Play the 2nd round of Golf at Victoria Golf & Country Club.

Afternoon Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, Lankathilaka and Gadaladeniya Temples, Tea Factory at GiragamaVisit the Temple of the Tooth relic, Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, Lankathilaka and Gadaladeniya Temples, Tea Factory at Giragama

Overnight in Kandy

DAY 5: TRANSFER TO NUWARA ELIYA

After breakfast at hotel, check out and transfer to Nuwara Eliya. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 6: GOLF AT NUWARA ELIYA GOLF CLUB

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to the “Nuwaraeliya Golf Club”. Play 3rd round of golf. Overnight in Nuwara EliyaAfter breakfast at hotel, transfer to the “Nuwaraeliya Golf Club”. Play 3rd round of golf. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya

DAY 7: TRANSFER TO HAMBANTOTA

After breakfast at the hotel, check out of Nuwara Eliya Hotel and transfer to Hambantota Shangrila Resort (3-4 Hrs drive)

Overnight in Hambantota.

DAY 8: GOLF AT SHANGRILA HAMBANTOTA GOLF CLUB

After breakfast, play a round at the resort course - Hambantota Golf Club 

DAY 9: HAMBANTOTA - COLOMBO AIRPORT & FLY OUT

After breakfast, check out of the resort & transfer to Colombo Airport (4-5 hrs drive)
