Vintage Course, at the latest mega golf club in the country, Mission Hills Haikou, has been the choice of destination for professional golfers and celebrities. The Vintage, being one of the 10 Schmidt-Curley designed golf courses in Mission Hills, has an architecture of courses of old days. Spread over around 250 acres, it displays odd, sometimes geometric shapes and quirky features that are distinctively old. The layout has holes carefully routed on existing terrain leaving the heavily wooded site as undisturbed as possible. The natural terrain is featured by striking, abrupt mounds, deep pots, square edges, ridges, blind shots, long and thin bunkers near both small and huge greens with wicker basket pins,thus, resembling the layouts of the past. Along with all these features, the heavy vegetation helps provide a good golfing experience.
