Handara Golf & Resort Bali is about 2 hours north of the busy Bali beaches near Bedugul, set in a completely different landscape. Cool hills, strawberry plantations and a lovely course set amidst the hills. Designed by Thomson & Wolveridge, Handara Golf Resort has been rated in the past as one of the best courses in Asia. The second hole is a fabulous par 4 which cuts across as a severe dog leg right with a dangerous approach shot over a stream. Enjoy the round with great views of the surrounding hills and the misty mountain air. The original 18th was affected by a severe landslide which also damaged the resort building but still a thoroughly enjoyable golfing experience in great weather. Don't forget to visit your caddy’s strawberry farm after the round and enjoy them freshly plucked.
