Visit Kingsbarns Distillery while at The Open 2015 in St.Andrews

Date Published: 20 Jul 2015

Kingsbarns Distillery is situated in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife, six miles from St. Andrews and within sight of Kingsbarns Championship Golf Course. The distillery project has seen the careful restoration of East Newhall Farm, a series of 18th Century Grade B listed buildings including a horse mill and the ‘doocot’, which holds the first cask filled at Kingsbarns.

A visit to Kingsbarns Distillery and Visitor Centre is the perfect addition to any golfer’s holiday.  Fife’s newest visitor attraction offers a self-guided exhibition, guided tours of the working distillery, a shop selling  Kingsbarns Distillery merchandise and Wemyss Malts whiskies, a cafe, ample parking, and a putting green (opening Summer 2015).

This July, when the Open Championship returns to St Andrews, you can include a visit to Kingsbarns Distillery as part of your tour package.
