Sentosa Golf Club, Serapong Course Overview
Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore was recently awarded as the best golf club in the world at the World Golf Awards. But it goes way beyond that. The two golf courses at Sentosa - Serapong and New Tanjong may very well account for the "best golf experience in Asia".
The Serapong Golf Course is widely regarded as the no 1 championship golf course in Asia. Opened way back in 1982 and originally designed by Ronald Fream, Serapong has been through two major renovations, the last of these completed as recently as December 2020. This is a clear testament to the standards it sets to count itself in the world's best tournament golf courses. It is no wonder then that Serapong has been host to the Singapore Open from 2005 to 2019.
While there is a significant premium attached to playing this golf course, it very much defines the Singapore golf experience.
