Royal Springs Golf Course, Srinagar, is one of the finest courses in the country and definitely amongst the most picturesque you’d play in, anywhere in the world. Located in Srinagar, the capital city of the northern most state of India, Jammu & Kashmir, the course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. is set against the backdrop of the Zabarwan Mountains. As scenic as it is, it is no walk in the park, with a challenging layout that includes several well placed bunkers and water hazards. The 18 hole course plays as long as 7089 yards from the back tees, which becomes much longer if you are anywhere in the treacherous rough. The big advantage about playing at the Royal Springs golf club is that when it is hot in other parts of India, the weather here is at its very best for golfing.
