Poona Golf Club Overview
Pune is a rapidly growing city, a little over 3 hours drive from Mumbai. Generally cooler and drier than Mumbai, the city has its unique flavour and is a major destination for western tourists because of the Osho Ashram and the Golf Resorts in Pune. The Poona Golf Club is situated within 10 minutes drive from the city centre and is a challenging design with quick greens, albeit with lower maintenance standards. It is relatively cheaper than its illustrious close neighbours, but that is no reason for the Poona golf course not to fit in as one of the courses on a golf holiday to this part of India.
