Good news for Indians travelling to Thailand!
Thai immigration’s new rule should bring a lot of cheer to Indian travellers to Thailand. Now, passports of travellers need to be valid for a minimum of only one month before expiry to be eligible for the Thai visa. This new rule shall apply for both Visa on Arrival as well as Visas processed prior to departure.
Previously, the passport validity required was 6 months. This rule will surely help in driving more traffic to Thailand, a popular choice in any case, by allowing quick and last-minute holidays, especially if other South East Asian nations continue with the 6-month rule.
