The Annika Golf course is one of the easier courses at Mission Hills in Shenzhen.
Including heavy vegetation and a number of strategically placed bunkers, this design forces golfer to stay on their toes from the first hole to the last.
The Els is a fairly mountainous layout; significant elevation change is predominent on the front nine, while the flatter back-nine features more in the way of water.
The Leadbetter starts with an elevated teeing position before plunging into the valley below.
The Norman course is considered the toughest course in Mission Hills and it is almost obvious that there is a conscious effort to make it the most intimidating
Designed by Jose Maria Olazabal, this course is the venue for the Omega World Cup from 2007 to 2018.
Gentle elevation change, excellent use of sand and the subtle influence of water all combine to provide a delightful little track
The Vijay Singh designed Golf course is quite difficult to get a good score on due to the amount of water, massive bunkers & sloping greens.
A Jack Nicklaus design, the name comes from it having hosted the World Cup of Golf back in 1995 – an event that truly put Mission Hills on the globe.
The trip was a success despite the poor weather. We will certainly re-book this trip next year and I expect word will get out and we will have more players. We loved all the courses and the service we received at each course.
