There seem to be new golf courses in Hanoi that are added on, each time you check. The surreal beauty of the landscape combined with modern design elements is helping churn out stunning beauties. Truly, the Hanoi golf courses landscape is simply irresistible and worth exploring.
It is by no means an easy task to pick the top golf courses in Hanoi. Venues like Van Tri, Kings Island, Sky Lake, Legend Hill, Hilltop and Long Bien all feature outstanding layouts. And in some cases like Kings Island and Sky Lake it is more than just one 18 hole course. You could play all and figure which of these are the best golf courses in Hanoi in your mind. But if push comes to shove, then try to include Van Tri and Kings Island (King Course). Do remember, you are still doing it at a considerable risk of excluding some other beauties. If you want to squeeze in some more, Long Bien’s proximity to the airport and floodlights may do the trick.
In spite of the significant increase in the infrastructure for golf in Hanoi, tee times are not a given. Weekend tee-sheets fill out very quickly by residents. Weekday tee-times in Hanoi are easier to find, but yet it is best to plan ahead to avoid disappointment. One factor to keep in mind is that the winter in Hanoi can sometimes be severe for the golf courses. The greens can take a beating and recovery can take a while. Regardless, golf in Hanoi is not to be missed.
