West Hill Golf Club Overview
In Surrey, relatively close to Central London, is the West Hill Golf Club, another fantastic heathland course that makes for a challenging round of golf. Opened for play in 1907, having been designed by a Scotsman, the course hasn’t changed much since it opened. Not too much in actual length of 6350 yards over a par 69, the design makes the West Hill golf course seem much longer – so accuracy really pays – especially on the par 3 holes, none more accentuated than the 15th – which is considered amongst the best in England.
