Set along the scenic Ring of Kerry, the famous Irish designer Eddie Hackett had the imagination and was granted the funds to create an extraordinary and charming links course in 1973. Waterville has seen famous visitors such as Charlie Chaplin who frequented the village for trout fishing. The course starts off with a flat terrain but with the superb par4 second hole,soon shows its intricate nature creating an exciting, challenging and enjoyable links experience. Interesting names such as ‘Tranquility’, ‘The Mass’,’The Judge’ and ‘Mulcahys Peak’ give the course a different character and the par 5 eighteenth leaves one with wonderful views of the Atlantic ocean winding up near the statue of the Near the modern yet simple clubhouse.

Golf trip to Chiangmai

The whole trip went very well. The hotel accommodation met our expectations. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful.
The golf courses selected were marvellous, coupled with nice weather, we enjoyed ourselves very much.
The transfers to and from airport and golf courses were good except for the last day with the transfer from our hotel to the Gassan Legacy golf course where the driver was late coming to the hotel. I think the driver was around or near the hotel but did not come into the hotel lobby to look for us. My husband had to get the hotel staff to call Lynda before the driver came into the hotel lobby to look for us. Anyway, it turned out ok in the end although a bit of a rush.
I want to congratulate Unnati, Sandeep and their colleagues for a job well done. Our sincere thanks to you all.
