The Waterford Valley golf course & resort is the other golf course to play in the cooler northern and hilly climate of Chiang Rai. Though not in the same mould as the Santiburi golf course in the area, the layout makes for an interesting golfing day out. Comprising a hilly nine and a relatively flat nine, there are several considerations including plenty of water bodies and sloping lies which provide reasonable challenge. There are some superb vistas all around the golf course that make the trip worth it.
