The Addington Golf Club Overview
You don’t have to drive too far out to get to the Addington Golf Club as it’s located about 12-13 miles from the centre of London. The course remains much like it was when it first opened in 1913. Earlier there were 2 courses, the Old & the New – however the New doesn’t exist anymore having made way for real estate development. The Old course as it exists today is tricky and always fun to play, even during the wetter months as it drains fast. The setting of the Addington golf course is quaint with old bridges and mature trees lining the course. Not very long at 6300 yards it still provides a reasonable test with the heather and the trees that combine well with the sloping fairways.
