St. Andrews Castle Course Overview

While many love this, there are others who have not enjoyed the Castle Course at St.Andrews, a new offering from the St. Andrews Links trust that opened in 2008. While everyone agrees on the excellent layout and some fantastic views and top class facilities, opinions are mixed about the quirkiness of the golf course, given the blind holes that come into play as well as the tricky nature of the greens, with the high handicappers getting their cards completely wrecked due to their treacherous nature. Wind as in any other links course is always a factor.
