One of New Zealand’s leading golf courses, Rotorua Golf Club is located right next to the Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve. The club is more than a century old and found its final home in Arikikapakapa reserve, where it began as a 9 – hole course and evolved over the years to a complete facility. One of the greatest advantages at New Zealand's Rotorua golf course is its pumice soil which drains water rapidly, so the course is back on its feet in no time, even after heavy rainstorms.
