Istanbul Golf Club Overview

One of the oldest golf courses in Europe, the Istanbul Golf Club started in 1895 as a 9 hole golf course “in the heart of Istanbul” – just in case one cannot take any more of what the city offers or if one has to get the regular golfing fix without travelling too far. Caddies are compulsory for visitors as against members. The Istanbul golf course lacks any par 5s and is tight, but is maintained reasonably well with fast greens, which is the minimum that the members would expect given that they have paid a bomb.
