Golf in Kota Kinabalu

Easily the biggest city in Malaysian Borneo, and capital of the Malaysian state of Sabah, there's some excellent golf in Kota Kinabalu (KK). While KK itself has the feel of any mid-sized administrative capital city, its location on the  South China Sea overseeing  the coral islands, the ragged peaks of Mount Kinabalu forming a distant backdrop, the immigrant Philippines population and the local seafood in one of the hawker zones make it a place full of character.

The drier period, when rainfall is lower, is between January and April and the temperatures are marginally lower during this period.
