VIEW DELHI & AROUND GOLF COURSES

The National Capital Region (NCR) that comprises Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon forms the centre of golf in Northern India. With classics such as the Delhi Golf Club, which has ancient monuments on its grounds to world class golf courses such as the DLF & Jaypee Greens Golf Resort, many golf courses are within an hour’s reach from Delhi.

Perhaps the best part about Golfing in the North is the fact that golf can be combined with the best sights of the famous Golden Triangle (Delhi, Agra and Jaipur). In addition to the golf courses around Delhi, the Rambagh Palace Golf course in Jaipur is an interesting and reasonably well maintained layout.

There can never be enough time if one has to experience even a small sample of the heady mix of the culture, history, monuments and cuisine that the Golden Triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur has to offer. While the Taj Mahal continues to be the calling for tourists from all over the world, there are enough and more awe-inspiring monuments. The ancient cities of Rajasthan like Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer take you back in time with royal palaces & incredible forts. Varanasi, considered as the cultural capital of India is a short flight away from Delhi as is Khajuraho, the town for the magnificent temples with renowned erotic sculptures.
