This is a destination with something for everyone including golfers, who can find a bunch of spectacular and challenging layouts in the city and its surrounds. With almost all year Mediterranean climate thrown in the mix, golf in Cape Town is a year-round experience.

BEST TIME TO GOLF IN CAPE TOWN & THE WESTERN CAPE: Cape Town, Winelands & Garden Route: You can visit Cape Town & the Winelands at anytime of the year as the temperatures are quite pleasant through most of the year. The dry summer months run from end of October to April. The Temperatures are highest during December & January and it is also the peak busy season during this time. The winter months are from June to August where the temperatures fall to around 16 degrees and this is also the time the region receives the most rainfall.

GETTING THERE: Cape Town has an International airport & many airlines fly into the city.  
The Winelands region is located to the North East of Cape Town and is easily accessible via road. Around an hour’s journey from Cape Town, you can travel by car or buses to this region. The popular stop over town in the Winelands is Stellenbosch.
