Kuala Lumpur, the capital is very well connected by flights to all parts of the world. This is also your base for exploring other parts of Malaysia. Malaysia's other international airports are at Pulau Penang and Johor Bahru. 

You can also fly to various destinations in Malaysia through Singapore.  Or drive into Malaysia from Singapore - the drive to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore is rougly 4 - 5 hours.

Travel in the West Coast of peninsular Malaysia is possible around the year, except in August when its the wettest.

The east coast of the peninsla experiences heavy rainfall from November to mid-February.  Average temperatures are between 20degrees and 30 degrees C.

In Kuala Lumpur, go to the Petronas Twin Towers, visit Penang to see the best of chinese influence or go to Langkawi for a relaxing beach holiday.

In Sabah, climb up to Kota Kinabalu, the highest peak in Malaysia ( over 4000 m).
